 Managing Partner Andrzej Mierzwa is the Managing Partner of Concordia which he founded in 1996 as Poland's leading investment banking boutique. In thirteen years with Concordia, Mr Mierzwa has built a broad experience in cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, advising among others TIGA holding on sale of Agros (food conglomerate) to Pernod Ricard of France, Pernod Ricard on acquisition of Poland?s Vodka Wyborowa maker Polmos Poznań, France Telecom on the acquisition of the controlling stake of Telekomunikacja Polska S.A., Polish-French consortium on the acquisition of Zubrowka vodka maker Polmos Białystok and Group Santander on the acquisition of PTF consumer finance company. In 2006-8 he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Concordia Espirito Santo Investment established in 2006 with Banco Espirito Santo Investmento of Portugal. In 2007-8 he was acting as Director General of BESI Branch in Poland. In 1989 he was one of the founding partners of London-based Central Europe Trust Co. Ltd, a strategic consultancy chaired by Nigel Lawson and advised corporations such as: British Gypsum, Hutchinson Telecom and Heinz on acquisition opportunities in Central Europe. Advising Poland?s Minister of Privatisation he executed sales of Polish firms to investors such as: Jacobs Suchard, Bahlsen KG, United Biscuits. He also managed the initial public offering of Stalexport S.A. trading and investment conglomerate and advised the management of Stomil Olsztyn S.A. on their IPO. In 1985-89 he worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton, an American strategy consulting firm, in Paris and London. His clients included the Governments of France, Great Britain and New Zealand on assignments in industrial restructuring and privatisations. He also advised France Telecom, US West, RTL, IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation. He is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TIGA S.A (tourism related investment holding) and is President of Paris-based International Privatisation Services. Prevously, he was on the supervisory boards of IQPartners S.A. and Zielona Budka S.A. Mr. Mierzwa received his MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management in 1987.
